Sorority (CPC) Recruitment
Recruitment is a fun and exciting process at Southern Miss. The College Panhellenic Council holds formal recruitment the week before school beings in August. All incoming freshmen, transfers, and upper class women are welcome to participate in recruitment. Our recruitment is comprised of seven Panhellenic sororities and is headed up by our recruitment counselors, or Gamma Rho Chi's. We hope that you too can soon be a part of our Southern Miss Greek family!

Fraternity (IFC) Recruitment
The Interfraternity Council (IFC) remains in a perpetual state of recruitment. As each of our nine fraternities are constantly hosting recruitment activities, September and February tend to be when most recruitment events occur. While individual chapters host specific events, the IFC also hosts events that include all chapters.
to register for men's recruitment. It is FREE to participate in. If you sign a bid, a $50 signing fee will be assessed and can be paid with cash, check or credit card.
NPHC Intake
Intake of new members for the Southern Miss NPHC is unique because every individual organization that is a part of the council has its own window and process for initiation. Requirements for membership in NPHC organizations include but are not limited to: specific GPA, credit hours, community service, and campus involvement.
The specifics on membership for each organization can be accessed on that Fraternity/Sorority's National or local web site. We look forward to your participation in our one of a kind Greek system.
